STC Received For Propeller De-Ice System from Kelly Aerospace Thermal Systems

Kelly Aerospace Thermal Systems officially announced that it has received supplemental type certification (STC) for it's Propeller De-Ice System on the Cirrus SR20/SR22.

Propeller De-Ice:
The Kelly Aerospace Thermal Systems Propeller De-Ice kit is a complete thermoelectric system that runs exclusively off of the aircrafts electric bus. Because the unit is electric, there is no cost to maintain the system. De-icing of the propeller is completed in less than 90 seconds with the push of a button. The system weighs only 4.9 pounds and requires 15-17 Amps.
