Kelly Aerospace Announces the Implementation of PTC® Solutions Windchill System
Kelly Aerospace Inc. announced today the implementation of PTC® Solutions Windchill system. The PTC Product Development System, Windchill, enables Kelly Aerospace to collaboratively develop products in a globally distributed environment while controlling the information associated with that development throughout the product lifecycle.
TriStar, Inc, a Platinum PTC Partner performed the implementation and consulted Kelly Aerospace throughout the process.
Windchill provides a central source of information for products being designed and manufactured. It also unifies all the teams working concurrently on production across the extended organization including engineering, manufacturing, processing and quality. This paperless system provides strict configuration and change management functions with powerful automated workflows making it much more efficient than the previous manual process. Through Windchill, Kelly Aerospace strengthens open collaboration between the customers and vendors that in turn leads to major improvements in our lead time, cost efficiency and customer service. The result is a shortened product design cycle and an optimized business process for Kelly Aerospace Inc.
