Kelly Aerospace Thermal Systems Announces Entering the Experimental Market with RDD Enterprises
Kelly Aerospace's Thermal Systems Division has reached an exclusive agreement with RDD Enterprises of Redmond, Oregon for development, distribution and support of Kelly's experimental aircraft program. The highly regarded thermal de-ice solution that the Thermal Systems Division is known for, is now actively being developed for the experimental market segment by the most experienced group in the industry.
Bob Rutherford, VP of the Thermal Systems Division, is excited about their push into the experimental market saying, "We currently have a high demand in this segment of the industry, but we recognized the need for a strategic business partner that would enable us to provide all of the needed resources to fully develop and apply our technology to this segment of the industry. The relationship with RDD Enterprises meets our criteria and propels Kelly into the experimental market!"
RDD Enterprises brings a depth of technical skills unmatched by any other organization of its type with a full range of capabilities including design, flight test, repair and maintenance, builder assistance, composite construction, and system development and installation led by an inter-disciplinary team of industry veterans totaling 40 plus years of experience in the industry. Combined with RDD's technical prowess is unparalleled customer service and support experience.
Rutherford went on to say, "The key to success of any product in any segment of any industry is service and support. We recognize this and want to be the benchmark of customer satisfaction. RDD Enterprises brings with it both the technical and practical service and support tools needed to service the customers of the most advanced ice protection system on the market."
As noted by AOPA Magazines' feature on "The Top Technologies Influencing Aviation Today", Kellyís Thermawing de-ice solution is the paramount technology of its kind. Originally developed along side NASA scientists and further refined by the Thermal Systems Division, the electrically generated wing and tail heating elements provide robust de-ice performance.
Demand for this technology is high with Kelly steadily growing its market share in the OEM market. Making the strategic decision to expand into the experimental realm fortifies Kelly Thermal Systems Division's standing in the de-ice technology market. The relationship with RDD Enterprises further supports the notion that Kelly means business and stands behind their product line with great confidence.
